How Can Neck Discomfort Due To Herniated Cervical Discs Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with 2 herniated discs in my cervical spine a few months ago. The discomfort in my neck has gotten worse, and today my left arm went weak, then my right leg. I have been having discomfort in my back as well and wondered if perhaps I have herniated discs in my lower back as well. The fact that they are opposing limbs has me a bit confused.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Your weakness in arms here seema to be from compression of supplying nerves by bulging cervical disc..

You need to investigate with MRI spine

If compressed nerve is the cause and pain associated then pregabalin like drug can be prescribed

You might need surgical treatment if severity more and if medication and physiotherapy not working

Take care

Hope your concern solved

Consult orthopedic surgeon or neurologist for examination and further work up accordingly
