dear doctor my wife is 26 years old and she face first time irregular MC about 10 days late we think that she is pregnant but test is negative. my query is 1. what is the reason behind late period after start period she feel more more 2. what is the best and accurate time we check pregnancy test . 3. how to calculate exact ovulation day . thanks

hi,1)the reason behind delayed period could be longer time taken for the follicle to develop or anovulatory cycle.
2)pregnancy test can be checked after 1 wk of the missed period
3)if the periods are regular, ovulation occurs 14 days before the 1st day of your next period.ovulation can be checked by urine LH kits in the middle of ur period.
