Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
I understand your concern
regarding osteoarthritis which joint osteoarthritis you are having
I am considering knee or hip as you have difficulty in walking
these joints can be successfully replaced
But before getting that done have your lupus controlled
Controlling lupus might help you to feel better resulting in better sleep
You may be having sleep trouble due to major joints arthritis
Getting them replaced will relieve your pain
please consult an orthopedic surgeon for explaining you about the surgery and pros and cons of surgery
I find this answer helpful
