Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The main function of C5-C6, is to provide flexibility & support to the neck since there is loss of disc space you get pain & numbness. Numbness is an indication of developing neuralgia. The pinched nerve may cause the pain to radiate to the shoulders, clavicle & hand. Take anti-inflammatory medications, Ibuprofen (Advil) or Naproxen. Do exercises consult a physiotherapist for better results. If conservative treatment takes long than surgery can be the option. Get evaluated & talk to the orthopedic surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
