General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Burning and tingling are possibly due to neuropathy, which refers to abnormal function of the nerves in the area.

There are different possible causes including-
(1) low vitamin B12 or folate levels
(2) abnormal levels of vitamin B6
(3) diabetes
(4) liver or kidney disease
(5) thyroid disease
(6) due to mass compressing a nerve or other trauma to a nerve
(7) exposure to toxins
(8) neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis or stroke

Blood tests and imaging of the spine may be needed to find the exact cause but there are medication that can help e.g. Tegretol, Lyrica, Amitriptyline, etc.

I hope this helps.
