How Can Pain Due To Rheumatoid Arthritis And Osteoarthritis Be Treated?

What can I do for pain relief when I have RA, Lupus, Osteoarthritis and Degenerative Disc Disease? Please help me. I see a rheumatologist, but he will not help me with pain relief. He only prescrips my IV infusion when I m in an RA flare. My infusion is Rituxan. Sincerely

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are having all the painful arthritis (rheumatoid with osteoarthritis and degenerative disc).
So centrally acting (acts on brain) painkiller drugs like oxycodone, tramadol etc are beneficial in your case.
Sustained release skin patches of these drugs are also available in useful in some cases.
So better to consult pain specialist and discuss these options.
Application of warm water pad and ice packs alternatively is also beneficial.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
