How Can Pain On The Left Side Of The Rib Cage Be Treated?

My name is Tane Hunter and in 2013 I fractured 3 ribs, on my left side, I was healing and ok until 3 months later I had to twist and strain myself, causing pain, and in a few weeks I could hardly walk, they were thinking I could have a tumor, and ordered a bisopcy? Which turned out to actually be an abscess, I have had drainage bags that I have had to wear, for draining the abscess, and have gone though 5 weeks of intravenous antibiotics, but it seems the abscess is back again, I am going to get my blood work done and see a surgeon, because I just can’t take having to get another drainage bag put in again... I am not sure how to handle this to get this abscess to go away and stop filling up again. Any suggestions?
