How Can Painful Arthritis In The Finger Joints Be Treated?
I am 66 and over the last year I have developed what appears to be initial arthritis symptoms in my finger joints. In the mornings my knuckles on index and the middle fingers on both hands are stiff and painful until I flex them for a few minutes. I have used over the counter topicals and take glucosimin with chondroitin but have not really experienced significant relief. I am thinking of using Instaflex for some relief and wondered what the potential side effects might be from an independent source. Can you help me with that? Paul
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. Some advices that I can give to you are : -Analgesics. These medications help reduce pain, but have no effect on inflammation. -Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as naproxen. -Ointments such as fastum gel If it continues see a rheumatologist. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help. Kindly regards, Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi
