How Can Painful Calluses On The Hands And Feet Be Treated?
The Calluses on my hands and feet are painful when touched. The calluses are not new, pain just developed. Over the past 2 days I did have a fever and then a soar throat. Fever is gone, soar throat is getting better. I appreciate any information you can provide. Thank you, Rick Scott
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
-use an antibiotic cream to treat local infection -clean and dry the area frequently -Soak your hands, feet or elbows in warm/hot water for ten minutes -rub lotion on your feet/hands
In healthy people, corns and calluses eventually go away on their one in time so dont worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
