How To Treat Bump Like Calluses On Bottom Of Feet?

My husband gets small, hard crispy bump-like calluses on the bottom of his feet in the middle area below his toes. He showers, making the skin on the bottom of his foot softer and I remove the calluses with a new razorblade. It gets rid of the calluses but I am always afraid of cutting him with the corners of the razor blade. I need to acquire a proper tool for this. I have had one used on my feet before, years ago. It has a handle and a properly shaped razor so it is easier to get at the callus. Where can I buy one of these?
