How Can Painful Lesions On The Body Be Treated?

Hello, I have serious skin lesions and nothing is healing these. I am pre-diabetic and taking metformin for diabetes but these skin sores are hot to the touch , painful and are like cysts. Should I see an endocrinologist or a dermatologist and are they going to do anything for me??

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, you should definitely consult dermatologist for these painful skin lesions.
Since you are diabetic, possibility of skin infection with staphylococcus bacteria is more likely.
You may need skin biopsy and culture to identify causative organism.
Don't worry, with appropriate treatment you will be alright.
First diagnose and then start proper treatment.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
