How Can Plantar Fasciitis Be Treated?

I have been battling what I think has been plantar fasciitis. Tonight I made a quick turn and rushed to the stove where things were boiling over. After the first step, something popped in the bottom of my foot and intense pain came into my heel and on the inside of the arch. I have been icing it, however, it still is immobilizing when I try to put pressure on it and stand or walk. No swelling. Do I need to see a doctor and if so, what kind of Doctor.
