How Can Post Nasal Drip Along With Cough And Fever Be Treated?

Hi, I think its my allergies but this sucks. First it started with my ears which I ve always had problems with my ears and also had tubes put in. Now its like I got draining into my throat, a cough and I ve got the chills with a fever. I haven t taken my temperature but I m freezing and my body is really warm so that s how I know I m running a fever.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

As you stated it may be allergies because this can cause post nasal drip of mucus and cough but it is also possible that there may be an underlying infection since you have a fever present.

Infection is more likely to cause fever and would also cause the other symptoms.
Since most infections of the upper respiratory tract are viral, treatment would essentially be the same with fluids, rest, anti histamine/decongestants, paracetamol

I hope this helps
