How Can Post-operative Shoulder Pain Be Treated?

I recently had my 3rd surgery on my left shoulder. I saw my doctor 2 days ago and he dismissed me. I had to go to first care and get some pain meds and I think he got mad and I am no longer his patient. I cant even finish my rehab. I am on Medicaid and I lost my family doctor due to he does not except Medicaid and I do have a standing appointment with a new doctor in July. However I am in pain and I need some help with this until I see this new doctor. I have had 2 surgeries on my right shoulder and the pain is going back and forth. Can you help

Hello,

Persistent pain post operative for shoulder region may be in concern with adhesions, fibrosis or else issue with shoulder ligaments or girdle alignment issues. Till the time you meet your new doc, application of heating pad and analgesic spray with assisted physiotherapy would serve best to handle the issue nicely.
