How Can Prescribed Pregastar Plus Help In Nueralgic Pain With History Of Using Thyroid Supplements?
A family member has been prescribed pregastar plus for a month for nueralgic pain. The patient regularly uses thyroid supplements. What are the actual benefits of pregastar plus? Does it strengthen nerves? How to stop taking the medication after the recommended period of time? Are there any long term side effects? Thank you in advance.
Preagastar is a potent medicine for neuralgic pain.
The use of this medicine for a long period of time has these side effects: drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, edema, blurred vision, weight gain and difficulty in concentrating.
If the patient suffer from hypothyroidism(low pressure of thyroid), then pregastar will favor weight gain. So if the patient suffer from hypothyroidism, he/she shouldn't use pregastar.
Take Care. Dr. Behar.
