Hello,
Firstly, I need to see the picture of lesion. Actually, seeing the lesion is the only way to diagnose
psoriasis. Before I tell you any drug, I should have seen once the lesion.
If topical agents cannot relieve you, then, you can go to a good clinic to have other modalities of treatment like UV therapy, surgery, etc
Meanwhile, I advise you these:
1. diet supplemented with fish oil rich in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and
docosahexaenoic acid (
DHA). Diet recommendations include consumption of
cold water fish (preferably wild fish, not farmed) such as salmon, herring, and mackerel; extra virgin olive oil; legumes; vegetables; fruits; and whole grains; and avoid consumption of alcohol, red meat, and dairy products.
2. Avoid consumption of caffeine (including coffee, black tea, mate, and dark chocolate) remains to be determined.
3. Topical agent like
Clobetasol can be used
4. Do not go for
smoking and alcohol
If above treatment do not works well for two- three months, we can think of going to higher drug like
methotrexate and others. Other modalities are also present which can be later used if drug treatments fail.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
