hi sir, i want to know the information about Epilepsy (fits) and this is regarding for my sister , 28 years old, she is using medicines from last 15 years it is not cure .can I consult any neuorology doctor for permenent solution. Can you please suggest me better way to cure . thank you

Good day. I am an adult neurologist practicing in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Unfortunately, epilepsy which is difficult to treat in patients on multiple medications and regimens is a common problem but surgery could cure this condition if the patient is the proper candidate. If you would like more information in a 1-1 forum discussion where we can exchange much more data then, please consider writing me more details such as how and when it was diagnosed, what type of epilepsy it is called (the type), and which medications she is actually taking now.
