Hi, I am suffering from a eye infection from past 3 months. I had been to two eye specialists till now. Both of them prescribed some eye drops(till now I used around 7 different types of drops) and said it could be due to some allergy. it will get cured while using eye drops, but after some time the eyes will again get infected. Infection symptoms: Redness in the eye and yellow discharge. Drops used till now : Exocin, Vigamox etc.. Age: 27; Height : 5'.9'' ; weight : 63 kgs Will I ever get cured from this infection? Please help
one is antibiotic and other one is anti allergy.you have not give anything about itching or pain. yellow discharge is due to bacterial infection. it appears it is resistant to anti biotic. so swab can be taken for culture and sensitivity. after getting the report can use the antibiotic which is highly sensitive. with it take oral levocetrizine 5mg tablet daily.
