hi my daughter is 4 years old she has benn running a fever ofrf an on for over a month the drs have put her on amoxicillion 2 different time we are now in the hospital and they cant find out whats wrong and she still has afever no pain .she has a cough but thats it

Hello,

It is my opinion, that you should get your doctor evaluated for tuberculosis. There is a simple enough test called Mantoux or more advanced tests like quantifferon levels and CBNAAT.

Additionally, you could consider a throat swab for culture and sensitivity of the organism that is causing the infection.

Get the ESR levels checked. As a result you can get specific antibiotics prescribed that the organisms will be sensitive to.
