How Can Reddened And Swollen Infection From A Cat Scratch Be Treated?

What is the best treatment for cat scratch infection? I have been prescribed Amoxi/K Clav by my physician, and Sulfamethoxazole-TMP by the physician at the emergency room. I have swelling and redness at the site, but no fever. I was scratched on the inside of my elbow joint by my 9-year-old housecat who is current on his vaccinations. Thank you.

ciprofloxacin and , azithromycin
cotrimoxazole and trimethoprim are useful.

if there are any lymph nodes swelling you should be very careful and approach your doctor soon.
