How Can Severe Backache Be Treated?

I have been prescribed morphine and oxycontin in large doses for 15 years due to a back injury and failed back surgery when cutting my rural lining. I went to a rehab recently that used methadone to help me get off of pain meds. I wanted to try to stay off of the meds but the pain is still so severe that I am unable to live any type of functional life. I don t know what to do. What are my options?
