How Can Severe Backache During Pregnancy Be Treated?

Hi i am 24 weeks pregnant 25 on sunday i dont have my next appointment till the 5th for the passed 2 weeks i have had severe back pain i have tried over the counter ibuprofen i take it usually 2 times daily because my back hurts so badly its my 3rd child my first two both normal delivery s this is the worst back pain I ever experienced with my first two other then when i had a bad uti with my first child its constant should i make an earlier appointment or should i wait I dont like taking to much ibuprofen so i only take it 2 times and it doesnt help at all

Good day and thank you for posting this question. I will advice you stop taking Ibuprofen cos it's not good for the baby at this period, might lead to heart problems. Rather, if I were your doctor, I will give you Acetaminophen (injection) to relieve the pain. Kindly see your doctor, and you might also benefit from bed rest for the back pain.
