How Can Severe Constipation In An Infant Be Treated?

My 22 months old baby is severe constipated. Already I gave polyethylene glycol for 4 months.she was normal on that time.but, i stopped problem comes then I go for milk of magnesia.if I give milk of magnesia she go to Bathroom automatically but I didn t give means its very difficult. she take lot of water, juices , vegetables but it doesn t work.

Constipation is fairly common in infants. You can give lactulose syrup initially.
If lactulose fails, enema may be required.
