Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi my name is Chris and about 3 years ago I had right eye trauma and developed severe cornea (spider web) damage as well as a cataract. I did have a lense replacement but I am noticing that my vision is getting worse in that particular eye not to mention after the surgery I have had no sense of depth. is there any type of cure other than surgery again that would help me. I would love some advice rather than going to an optomitrist over and over and hear that I have to spend countless dollars on contacts and eye solutions. please help.
Make sure there is no pressure on the eye itself. Seek immediate, professional medical attention. In minor cases of trauma, such as a black eye from a sports injury, applying cold to the affected area can help bring swelling down, and allow the affected area to heal faster.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Monish De, Oncologist
