How Can Severe Heartburn And Vertigo Caused By Stress And Anxiety Be Treated?
My husband has a very stressful job and took zanax last year for his anxiety. He does not want to take it again but he is having chest pains with numbness and tingling in his hands, along with heartburn and lots of burping. He has seen a gastroenterologist and had an endoscopy which showed no damage from heartburn, but he still has symptoms and he is taking 2 Prilosec daily. His symptoms worsen when his stress gets worse. He also has constant vertigo that he has had for 2 years but now is daily and he is having trouble functioning. The vertigo is his worst symptom. He is worried something is wrong but cannot take off to see a doctor until testing is over this week at the school he is in. Is there anything he can do to try to help his symptoms in the mean time and what kind of doctor do you recommend we make an appointment with?
