How Can Severe Knee Pain Be Treated?

yes having bad knee pain and was seen at the emergency dept they gave me predisone and pain med I do have gout but my levels were good This week say my regular doc and she gave me meloxicam for my knee pain and thought that i had gotten a virus somehow and it effected my knees? Does that seem like something curable in time
