How Can Severe Pain Due To Adenomyosis Be Treated?
Hello i suffer from adenomyosis and i experience worst pain monthly.which contraceptive would you recommend between the cerazette and the evra patch.....keeping in mind very pinful periods and i need to keep my weight down am 34yrs and 75kgs..which is overweight already
Adenomyosis or fibroids cause a lot of pain during menstruation and can be relieved by medications like a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug like Ibuprofen.
Also to reduce the bleeding medications like Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic acid is helpful for which You can also consult your gynecologist.
Mild exercise and TENS(transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation) machine can be of added help.
In my opinion, an Evra patch which contains Progesterone and Ethinylestradiol combined will help you better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
