How Can Severe Pain In The Big Toe Be Treated?

I have been diagnosed with capsulitis on my right foot. I have extreme pain in my right big toe. It feels like a blister is forming. I have been using ice and ibuprofen but it s not helping. A friend said I could get orthotics from the drugstore to help relieve the pain but I don t know the best type to get. I have a huge callous on the ball of my foot too.

Hello,

Anti-inflammatory drugs will help to reduce inflammation and thus pain. However, you need to consult a podatrist to look for other problems in foot, since you have reported other problems like callus, blister etc.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
