How Can Severe Pain In The Legs After Hip Replacement Be Treated?
I have an arthritic hip due to be replaced in a few months. I am having radiating pain down my entire leg in addition to the joint pain with certain movements. I am taking meloxican anti-inflammatory but the radiating pain is getting works, through the thigh, knee and shin. Can I do anything more before my surgery? SLeeping is difficult.
After hip replacement surgery many patients experience pain up to foot, it is due radiation of pain due to common nervous supply. You can take analgesics like Gabapentin or Tramadol which shows good results in such patient also they provide good sedation and thus help you to be good sleep.
Hope I have answered your query.
