Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Today my 92-year-old mother is experiencing sharp pains in her left toe. She is thinking it is arthritis, but says she can hardly walk. Is there a chance it could be related to her heart? We have no knowledge of her having heart disease. She wants to wait to see if it is better in the morning before we call her doctor. Should we tend to it ASAP?
Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic. It may be related to heart issueif there is bad circulation in legs but it is more likely to be arthritis or skin infections. She should take nonsteroid painkillers and apply cold compresses. If it persist she should see doctor. I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
