How Can Shingles Around The Eyes Be Treated?
An adult family member has been diagnosed with shingles in and around his eye. He also has been experiencing a clouding in that eye affecting his vision. What, if anything, can be done? Can it spread to his other eye? Could it possibly cause blindness? Could a corneal transplant restore his vision? Please give me whatever info you can. Thank you so much.

Your symptoms seem to be related to ocular shingles.
In general, shingles is a disease that after it has run its course will slowly disappear by itself.
I recommend using antiviral medication such as Acyclovir daily.
I also recommend using the anti-inflammatory medication in case of pain.
