How Can Shingles On The Buttocks Be Treated?

I discovered a rash or something on my buttock on Thursday night and went in to see doctor next morning. He diagnosed me with shingles and he prescribed Scyclovir 800mg taking one 5x day. The spots on my buttocks has a few more areas. I just had my husband check my private area and he said there were some bumps on the lip area. Is there anything I can do to be more comfortable? I am mostly sitting or laying on the one side and also using a padded cushion to sit on.

Hi, I suggest that you apply Calamine Lotion on the affected area.For the pain you can take a combination of Pregabalin-Methycobalamin(75mg-1500mg) once a day for 10 days.
