How Can Sore Throat Along With Muscle Ache And Nausea Be Treated?

I m 77 I had the flu/virus 6 weeks ago and my prim doc put me on antibiotics and steroids , 2 days later I felt great. This past week I got the same Flu/virus symptoms but i didn t contact my prim Doc. Today I feel a little better. My symptoms are sore throat, muscle aches, little chills, slight runny nose, fatigue, slight headache and nausia. NO Fever. Tuesday I have an appointment with my prim/doc shall I ask for Antibiotics and steroids and how often should someone take them? David.

Hello,

You are suffering from viral rhinopharyngitis with myalgia. Take rest, drink plenty of liquid. Use capsule Tamiflu twice a day for five days. Use tablet paracetamol thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
