I had a cold/sore throat for a few days, which involved much nasal blockage. I mainly used saline/neti pot washing to clear this. The initial symptoms subsided after about 5 days but now I have a foul odor in my head when I breathe through my nose; plus I have almost no sense of smell other than the internal odor. This has happened a number of times over the years but I would not consider it to be a chronic condition. Still it is very bothersome and I don t know what to do about it other than wait for it to go away and hope. Any thoughts? I m 59, 5 8 and in generally good health.
