How Can Sore Throat Be Treated?

my hubby is home and I have to give him IV for tb of the bone. The meds he is taking is i meropenem IV He is running a small fever and says his throat is sore.I have Biaxin 500 mg for his tonsils. But want to make sure I can give him this while taking the IV?

I see that you are already taking the right medication. I would suggest gargle with salty water and drink liquids for more relief
He could also use throat sprays for antibacterial effects.
