How Can Stitches On The Frenulum Be Removed?

Greetings! I had a frenulum removal and my doctor said that the stitches will be removed by them selves in around 2 weeks max, its been 19 days and my girlfriend is coming for a visit. I asked my doctor if i could just pull the stitches off and he told me that it will be fine as long as i do it while in the shower which i did but i have 2 more stitches left and i find it hard to pull them off since it hurts a lot more than the previous ones and im thinking that i might do more harm than good. Any advise? (Im currently in another country so i cant visit my doctor)

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

If the wound is healed you can remove the stitches from a nearby nursing station.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
