How Can Strongyloides Stercoralis Infection Be Treated?

hello
i went to a np yesterday with symptoms that point to strongyloides as being what is causing my fingers to peel and lacing on my thighs, buttocks, and wrists. it gets worse at different times of the day. i was exposed to a very toxic mold chateoium unknowingly and the same time as a former landlord dumped a class 2 toxic puddled into our former bedroom and sideof house in effort to "clean" the rain gutters.whe i spoke with the no yesterday she looked at me like i was insane and gave me a stool lab to do. it is more than obvious that it is the threadworms parasite and i am immunocompremised due to shingles. i am on suppressive therapy and worry that the parasitic infection is fatal. would someone please tell me what i can do to advocate for myself?

Hello,

There is antihelminthic which definitely clears the problem. You can use praziquantel or albendazole.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
