How Can Swelling And Inflammation On The Toe Be Treated?
Hi, I stubbed my pinky toe about three days ago, against a doorframe. It immediately swelled, got red, and it hurt a lot to put weight on it for the whole day. It hasn t been sore since, but the nail seems a bit lifted, and when I pressed down on it today to see how it would feel, clear liquid oozed from under the nail. I also noticed the nail s coloring is very faintly more yellow than my other nails. Should I be concerned, or is this part of the healing process? It hasn t bled at all. Thank you!!!
As swelling over toe is due to blunt trauma against doorframe, kindly do x ray of that affected toe to rule out fracture after orthopedician consultation. don't give much pressure over it. you may require strapping over it. You can take tab. aceclofenac, apply diclofenac gel or spray over it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
