How Can The Bump As A Result Of Head Injury Be Healed?
I Hit my head yesterday on the wall when I came up from picking something up. I feel a bump in that spot but there is no bruise or anything. It kind of feels like road rash but there is nothing there (to see). What can I do to heal the bump or make it go away faster? What is your opinion
I've gone through your queries and it seems like you've experienced a mild traumatic head injury.
Not to worry , as the bump will take a few days to heal (2-3 days at the earliest) depending on the force of the impact. Meanwhile just apply some Ice-pack / bag of frozen peas to fasten the process and also reduce the swelling. Also avoid rubbing the area.
Stay at home and avoid any strenuous activities(driving /outdoor games/ handling heavy machinery etc.). Keep yourself under observation for the next 24Hrs.
Do keep on checking the size of the area and if you notice that the size is increasing despite 24Hrs , then you need to check into your nearest ER and get a CT-Head done.
