MY MOTHER IS A HYPERTENSIVE PATIENT FROM LAST 10 YEARS BUT WITH A REGULAR MEDICATION. LAST WEEK HER BLOOD PRESSURE WAS HIGHLY SHOOT UP DUE TO WHICH SHE HAD BLEEDING FROM HER ONE NOSTRIL. BUT SITUATION WAS CONTROLLED. WE MADE HER FEW TESTS IN WHICH HER BLOOD UREA LEVEL WAS ELEVATED TO 51MG AND BLOOD CREATINE WAS ELEVATED TO 1.4. I AM REALLY SCARED NOW. CAM YOU PLEASE HELP ME OUT IS IT SOMETHING REALLY SCARY TO BE WORRIED
Hi. It looks from the history and Lab reports that there may dehydration due to ill health ; the patient really does not take much orally. After a good re-hydration with plenty of oral fluids , you may please repeat the tests, they may be normal. If still elevated better to visit Medical Urologist for further diagnosis and management.
