How Can Tingling Sensation In The Hands And Feet Be Treated?

Finished last of taxol chemo treatments on 8/24 after 16 weeks of Dose Dense AC-T. have tingling in feet and hands that keeps me awake at night. a lot. Ativan was one of the drugs prescribed for nausea and anxiety during the chemo and it seems to be a solution to relaxing the hands and feet issues to allow me to sleep. Is it a suitable temporary solution for this issue? I will be seeing my Oncologist in 2 weeks but also will start 34 radiation session before then. (some other areas of my body also get the tingles when I am trying to sleep).

Hello dear. It seems you have polyneuropathy as a result of chemotherapy. In some cases it is reversible in some ireversible. There is no cure for it except to swich to another drug or to do a break of chemotherapy. While Ativan is a drug used to reduce anxiety and give better sleep but doesn't effect directly to the tingling sensation and neuropathy you have. Best regards.
