How Can Urinary Urgency, Causing Pain Before, During And After Urination, Be Treated?

Hello, I am a 64 year old woman. I have had the urge to urinate frequently,at night and during the day.It causes me pain before , during and after urination. This evening I almost wet the bed during my sleep. I had a urine test last Thursday and it came back negative for a bladder infection.What could be the cause of this.It can not be a sexually transmitted disease because I do not have sexual intercourse.It causes me a great deal of discomfort.

Hi, I think you should go for a ultrasound to see the kidneys, ureter and bladder. Also check your blood sugar levels.
