How Can Urine Infection During Pregnancy Be Treated?

Hi, my wife is going thru 32nd week of pregnancy. She is having & thyroid both. Suddenly urine infection is found and my doctor suggested for trexim 0 200mg. She is taking normal pregnancy medicine, thyroid medicine & insulin for sugar. Is it better to take trexim o200mg tablet twice a day.
