Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a valvular desease (I can’t recall the lengthy name). It’s an itchy type desease. My gyn took a biopsy of a small area today. She wouldn’t give me on info on the treatment if the test comes back as positive. Can u tell me some procedures for this type of cancer?
Vulval itching may be due to irritation to soap, towels, creams, tampons, sanitary pads, ring worm, scabies infection, etcetera.
Other possibilities are like lichen planus, atopic dermatitis, lichen sclerosis, eczema, psoriasis, that need biopsy. Please consult your doctor who will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
