How Can Vascular Dementia Be Treated?

My mom has Vascular dementia. Diagnosed in 2013. She has been on excel on patch(major rash and blistering), Namenda, Aricept, Nemzari (28/10) too strong causing sleep a lot! Then Nemzaric (14/10) great results but still uncontrollable diarrhea. Stopped all Medes and now is on Namenda 5 mg 2x/day only. Confusion and hallucinations have greatly increased. Her neuro of 4 yrs just dropped us and sent us to another neuro we go see Thursday! What med is left to treat it?
