My daughter is 15 and went to the emergency room 5 nights ago with vomiting and lower right side back pain. They did a MRI that showed only swollen lymph nodes in her abdominal. Her blood work showed 2.07 level on her creatinine. Urine was clear with just a small trace of blood We left with no real answers It s been 5 days she has had no more vomiting but her back pain is still there and being managed with advil every 4-6 hours. Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

No need to worry for abdominal pathology as her MRI is normal.
In my opinion, you should definitely consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination lower spine. Her lower backache is mostly due to lumber spine related pathology. He may need MRI of lumber spine to rule out lumber spine pathology.Physiotherapy, avoidance of weight lifting, combination of painkiller and muscle relaxant (Ibuprofen and Thiocolchicoside), warm water pad application etc are also beneficial.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
