How Can Vomiting, Congestion, Stomach Pain, Bloating With Rectal Bleeding Be Treated?

I am vomitting every now and then, I feel congested and throw up violently although not regular, last night I vomitted and there was alot of thick liquid that looked like dark blood, this has been on and off for years, last night was the most blood. I have also had stomach pain and often feel bloated and though when I have eaten it has not gone in my stomach fully, I also pass tiny amounts of blood in my stools. What can I do to stop this?

Hi,

Continue history of vomiting may have numbers of reasons, and common is an infection, dyspepsia, allergic condition, some of them are self-limiting but other needs to be treated for underlying causes.

For symptomatic relief anti-emetic can be tried like Domperdone or Ondansetron, and to know the underlying causes certain investigation requires like blood test, imaging studies.

Diet control also plays the role in controlling the vomiting, in the case of hyperacidity if this is the cause then oily and spicy food need to be avoided.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
