How Can Weakness In The Left Side Of The Body Be Treated?
i had a stroke about 5 yrs ago after receivin phsyical therarpy for 90 days thats what my job allowed recently got let go before i left i adjusted my self to using my right side therefore my left side has gotten weak again what kind of exerciceses i can do at home
You need to strengthen the muscles of the left side and for this, there are many exercises that can help, but this will take a lot of time and you need to have the good energy for it. Sometimes, the alone exercisin becomes boring, and group therapy is also a very good option. Otherwise a personal Physiotherapist can help as well, starting from some hours a week till many hours per day.
Swimming, or exercises in pool are very helpful also.
I do advice that you register yourself on one of the two options that I mentioned above with a local Physiotherapist.
A diet full of proteins is recommended altogether.
Hope this helped,
Best Regards, Dr. Eni Manoku
