How Can Weight With High Prolactin Levels Be Reduced?

hi doctor my name is Philomena from Kenya,i have been on Femi plan everyday pills since i gave b irth to my boy 3yrs and i have added so much weight which won t go away even after exercising so had....what other options do i had since my prolactin levels is really high and still producing milk?

The first thing is to check on how many calories one is taking in. Producing milk removes calories. All of this increases appetite and people usually eat more in this context. Also, metabolism can decrease after delivery and certainly does with aging (about 1 pound per year even in thin people). Also there are some uncommon but not rare complications of pregnancy in which the hormones are totally messed up and people gain weight (loss of pituitary, or development of diabetes)
