Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
At night I put a plastic (it said in korean language but also said other of plastic, it was transparent and thin) with a seaweed (ready to eat snack) inside a rice cooker to be heated (not cooked) with rice. At the morning, the plastic melted and become not transparent, however I ate the rice and the seaweed.. What should I do? Is this dangerous? I did a vomit, but I m not sure if I take out all of the food inside my body T-Ta..
Plastic is made up of carbon compounds. Plastics are considered as carcinogenic which means the substances causing cancer. Melted plastics contains either Bisphenol S or Bisphenol A. Both of these are carcinogenic. Since you ate only little amount, it may not be up to the toxic level. Hereafter, be careful with plastics.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pradeepraj, General & Family Physician
